On May 04, 2022, the Santa Monica Vermont Apartments project for Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) officially broke ground. LTSC has partnered with the Los Angeles County Metro Transit Authority to build two (2) six-story buildings with187 affordable units. The ground floor will include a health center, social services offices, and commercial space. The project will be LEED certified and include upgrades to the plaza area at the station. Construction of the project is expected to be complete in Spring of 2024.
