Cost Estimator

About the Company

Walton Construction, Inc. is a family owned general contracting company that specializes in mixed-use multi-family and senior housing developments. We collaborate with non-profit clients on new and rehabilitation projects for family, senior and special needs residents. We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual ready to learn and grow with our organization.

Cost Estimator Needed-Duties

• Read, analyze, interpret & generally understand contracts, plans, and specifications for a general contracting company
• Execute material take-offs;
• Compile take-off data for reports used for cost estimates & procurement planning
• Obtain materials pricing
• Prepare estimates at different levels of completion (conceptual, schematic, design development, construction document estimates, etc.
• Compare and analyze competitive subcontractor & supplier bids;
• Bachelor degree +24 months exp ops mgmt req (or equivalent)
• $54,766/yr
• Travel required to LA County/Metro area as needed
