Project Description
Client: East LA Community Corp (ELACC)
Location: Los Angeles, CA
The project consisted of the new construction of a 25 unit, 3-story multi-family housing complex of affordable apartments. The project included underground parking, a community room, an outdoor play area for children, and on-site supportive services for residents. The Place Apartments houses sixteen (16) families who had been homeless for more than 18 months as well as nine (9) low income families. The project exceeded state energy efficiency requirements by 30%.
